The Crooked Creek Farmers Market provides convenient access to locally-grown, healthy food choices and to provide local farmers with the opportunity to sell their locally-grown produce to contribute to the health and economic vitality of the Crooked Creek Community in northwest Indianapolis.
The Crooked Creek Farmers Market is a new market being started by the Crooked Creek Community Development Corporation as a way to bring local healthy food into a community that lacks a full service grocery store. The market will accept SNAP, debit and credit cards, and use FMNP to help reach the whole spectrum of the area’s residents. On top of being richly diverse, the Crooked Creek area is also a very busy commercial corridor with Michigan Road seeing over 40,000 cars per day.
Free parking. Credit, debit, and Hoosier Works cards accepted. Founded 2012 by the Crooked Creek Community Development Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
